Unfortunately, we all still earn pennies here and on other sites like Medium, unless we happen to have a strong group of followers and readers.

I will blame it on the algorithm ( the man-made program) that makes it possible for a handful of writers to earn big money, even though their content is neither unique or nor exceptional. :)
