That is very true Orla. You are not really a new writer, but a seasoned one now, with a great publication, and a number of wonderful articles under your belt, as well as a great following of readers and fellow writers. :)

There are a handful of writers here who make a living just writing. But, I do not think that Medium is a great platform for poets and creative writers.

The best way is to use these platforms for our other projects and to raise our author profiles.
