Hi Tessa, Yes it is writers who have over the centuries inspired scientists and inventors with their creative ideas.

There was one Medium user who wanted to enter into a debate with me about climate change, to present the pros and the cons. The article was my response to his challenge as a writer, to inform him, that I was just a Writer and certainly not a Scientist, though I enjoyed studying the subject.

Some people just want to complain or point the finger at writer's who they imagine are powerless individuals, who just write, thinking that they can change they world, which they ultimately do. :)
