Hi Duvy,
You are very welcome.
I am so pleased to know that you have accepted the Sceptre of Storytelling :)
I was inspired to take up storytelling by my Dad, Melvyn Brown who was known as the Storyteller as a young man, as he would teach Creative English in Schools in Calcutta, India, using Storytelling and creative writing.
I wrote a fictional character called the Storyteller a few years ago and published it on Amazon.
I took up the "Sceptre of the Storyteller", when I decided at the age of seventeen to write my first poem that told the story of Mermaids. I published it as a book with 75 poems in 2010.
If I could suggest, the first few steps to walking on the path of the Storytelling photographers journey would be to,
* have a YouTube channel on the art of Storytelling through Photography.
* Create a blog devoted to Storytelling through photography.
* Write a 50 page ebook on the Art of Storytelling through photography. Every article on Medium that you have written is a Chapter for your book. You could have 10 to 15 chapters in the Ebook.
* Advertise your Bio photo services for Social Media users, where you can select and edit the best photos for all social media users, which displays them in the best light, to make their images "photo magnets", for followers.
I hope that the above tips help.
* Branding- Start branding yourself on social media, with a logo and slogan as a Photographer Storyteller, "telling stories through photography".
Sorry, Duvy, once I start writing, the ideas just keep flowing and I cannot stop. :)
Wishing you well.
Regards
Warren
