A Love Letter to Christmas
Blessings and an abundance of love, peace and joy
My Dearest Christmas,
It has been eleven months since I last saw you. Welcome back, with all your festivity and cheer, that makes life so fun and exciting. It is wonderful to see so many happy faces on the streets as people prepare for the arrival of the Christ child or just time for festivities and good holiday fun.
My sweetest Christmas, I am looking forward to all the lovely Christmas treats, the gifts under the tree, decorating the home, and watching the bright Christmas lights on the streets, as homes are all decorated for the festive season. This time of the year does fill everyone with good spirits and holiday joy.
My beloved Christmas, this is also a nostalgic year for many of us, for those who lost their loved ones and who miss them during this time. I know how my parents loved Christmas and Mum and Dad would have the home all ready for Christmas and yet there were always hectic last-minute preparations. I know that Mum and Dad will look down on us and every member of the family during this festive season. Have a wonderful celebration this Christmas and know that your loved ones are near you at this time of the year.
